Geez, Rankeen, do you actually think the other single guys would let you know if there were women available anywhere? Do your own research and recruitment.

I hereby declare that every single libertarian guy has to recruit at least one girl of the three they need to win the Golden Porcupine (even you gay guys).

I vote that all of us single porcupines wear big signs. Maybe a stamp on the forehead or something. Yeah, that'll work! ;D
I like that idea....maybe a pin or a sticker for the Porcfest badges :)

At Mary Kay conventions, the consultants wear alllll sorts of badges, stickers, pins, ribbons, etc., denoting various parts of their 'status'.  Got a buck says we could do that at Porc Fest and most people wouldn't participate.  Darn libertarians!!! ;)

In some conferences I've been to, there's been little stickers for name tags indicating one's membership in various special interest groups, such as Solaris vs. HP/UX vs. IBM specialists, database admins, etc.  Perhaps the same concept could work here.

Well, I intend on wearing a "Polly-the-Parrot" button (polyamory), but figure that I'll leave my +2 button-mail at home ;-) lol! Anyway, if anyone is looking for the parrot buttons, and see someone with them, ask, they may have some, or I'll be there on the last Fri/Sat. Maybe it'll help! lol...

Thats another thing I forgot about, Rankeen.  If Dave Mincin comes, you won't be able to get near a woman, married or single!

ah HAH!! So single women should avoid Dave?  ;)

Among those of us who have been married for a good many years, these are the women who we treasure and adore above all else in this world, and we thank God for every morning, and every day, we are granted the privelege of their company.

Mike, I always knew you were a gem of a human being and this confirms it.   :)

The gal with the bullwhip doesn't *quite* meet his criteria, for although she is poly, she's married w/munchkins already...

'Poly'?

[Inquiring minds want to know what that means, and also, was she even part of the FSP Festival last year? I did not think so...I thought she was just some other camper..]

Short for "polyamory", which indicates a preference for relationships featuring more than two individuals.  When marriage is involved, it's called polygamy, which many folks confuse with polygyny (one male, more than one female) since that's been the most common in western history, but there is also polyandry (one female, more than one male) that has been practiced by several cultures (and some while back, me personally for six years).  No set names for multiples of both genders or same-gender groupings.

Mosquitos I can deal with.  It's the damned deer flies that usually ate me alive when I lived up there.
