Good luck with that, you can't even get cell phones to work at rogers. I could get one or two bars on mine in certain spots, but that's it.

Which service do you use, if you don't mind me asking?

I use Verizon and could not get a good signal at Rogers.  Funny enough though when I went to the evil Wal-Mart wich seemed to be "down hill" I was able to make calls.

Rogers does have a pay phone that is or at least was 25 cents a min to anywere in U.S. This was cheaper than my cell at time cause NH is roaming for me.

They didn't last year other than dial-up if you had a motel room.

I'll have an internet connection there via satellite. Setting up a local hotspot might be a possibility. ;)

My Verison phone worked...um...ok over near the water slide.  I would think that campgrounds like Rogers could be convinced to supply wi-fi, or PC access to the net.

I have AT&T (Cingular, now, I guess).  Anyone try to use an AT&T phone up there?  If so, did it work?

Their efforts and expendatures in fiber and other hardwired capacity might be rendered obsolete with the advent of WiMax 802.16 technology at 75Mb/s up to 30 miles.

Are we a bunch of dorks?  Can't we "camp" without being wired?  :P

I guess it is not so much "camping" as a resort-like environment, right?
