If you have questions about NH homeschooling, this would be a good place to find answers!

New Hampshire Homeschooling Coalition to Present Workshop

The New Hampshire Homeschooling Coalition presents their annual Spring Workshop Saturday, April 16, at St. Anselm College, Manchester, New Hampshire.  This year's program includes a focus on homeschooling through high school and a teen social during lunch includes pizza, games, and a chance to connect with other homeschoolers across the state.

The morning session features two panel discussions.  A Homeschooling Sampler starts with a brief overview of the legal requirements for homeschooling in New Hampshire; then homeschooling parents will talk about their teaching methods and experiences, and answer audience questions.  Homeschooling Through High School is for those preparing to provide a high school education at home. In the afternoon, representatives from college, trade school and apprenticeship programs and the New Hampshire Higher Education Assistance foundation will discuss Beyond High School.  At the same time, a second workshop will address Teaching Special Children at Home with a panel of parents who homeschool children with special needs.

Teen homeschoolers (age 13 and up) will be treated to a pizza lunch and a separate area where they can meet, play games, and post information about teen groups and events.

Those attending can browse displays of homeschooling material, pick up free resources and catalogs, meet with their Coalition representative, and connect with other homeschoolers.

Registration starts at 9:00. Admission  is $10 for members, $15 non-members, $5 for teens 13 and up.

Just curious, does anyone have an estimate of the number of children who are home-schooled in NH?
