Fair enough, I guess.  (Not knowing that it was a beta project, I was worried that it was just another one that wasn't working.)  Good luck.
It's time for President Paul.

Another factor in the lack of general promotion is that we have a group in a "class" of sorts who are progressing at the same time (more or less).  We don't have a mechanism yet to deal with a self-paced study plan.  Right now we have folks all working on assignment three with assignment four coming Friday.  if we had a bunch of folks on Three and some on Two, some on One, etc. that's one problem - when we're still working out the kinks.  But what about the overachiever who would start yesterday and be ready for assigment five today?  That person would be waiting for the assignment that isn't written yet.  This beta run helps us refine the lessons, work out kinks, deal with the obvious questions and problems generated by our first batch of volunteers.  We are generating the assignments as we go.  And when we're done with all the lessons, polish them up with our hindsight, we'll need a technical mechanism to know who is in what assignment as well as a method to communicate well with them.  This "hidden" method of beta testing isn't great but it seemed like the best way to get the best product out of the effort.
