November 2009, December 2009 and January 2010 sign-ups are up.  There is someone currently working on figuring out how to get the sign-ups after January 2010 up.  I do not know how to do it so I am unable to do it.  I'll try to post in this thread when they are posted.  Thanks for your patients.

February 2010 and March 2010 sign-ups are up.  I now know this process pretty well so look for a bunch more postings this summer.  Who knows, maybe I'll even catch up :)  As usual, thanks for your patients.

I don't know if this is the right thread to volunteer this info, but wanted to let you know I heard about The Free State Project on "Free Talk Live" on XM Radio.  While I appreciate my privacy, I don't mind if you just place an anonymous mark and add 1 for FTL in case there is a Platinum Award.

April 2010, May 2010, June 2010 and July 2010 sign-ups are up.  I cannot guarantee that my work is 100% accurate but I assure you it is mostly accurate :)

I just realized these are a full year behind. Is there a reason for that? Just curious. I was like hey what july just started how can those be up!

Edit: If you are simply just a year behind in this then perhaps I could help?

To walrus, thanks but I tried to explain the situation in this post, http://forum.freestateproject.org/index.php?topic=8333.msg267010#msg267010

August 2010, September 2010, October 2010, November 2010, December 2010, January 2011, February 2011, March 2011, April 2011, May 2011 and June 2011 sign-ups are up :)  I am sorry that the stats took so long to go up.  It didn't take me long to get caught up after one of the FSP IT guys and my friend helped me streamline the process.  Thanks for the help guys.

Like I said last month, I cannot guarantee that my work is 100% accurate but I assure you it is mostly accurate  :)

Now that the numbers are up, I'd love to see a discussion on stats, trends, recruits and all of the related fun stuff.

July 2011 and August 2011 sign-up statistics are now up, http://freestateproject.org/about/membership/signup_stats

The June total reached a little bit of a low point.  The numbers were up slightly in July and up slightly more in August.

Sign-ups from John Stossel mimicked that tend, reaching a low point in June and increasing the last two months.

Stossel is well known and well respected.  Please continue to spread the videos of Stossel talking about the FSP to your friends, family and co-workers via text messages, social media, email and personal interactions.  Here are various links to the Stossel video, http://forum.freestateproject.org/index.php?topic=23145.msg263401#msg263401

So I was reviewing the sign up statistics on the FSP web site.  It looks like there has been a slow down in the last year or so.  If you look at the chart for the friends of the FSP it's trucking right along.  I think more than ever that the word about the FSP is getting out, but it seems the people who hear about it are too skittish to sign up.  What I've noticed is that many people seem to think if they sign up they have to move ASAP.  That the goal of the FSP is to move 20k people period and we've only got 1.4k movers.  I think people would feel more comfortable if they knew it was a commitment to move within five years of reaching the 20k sign up goal.  It would help a lot if someone could communicate this to the 6k or so "Friends of the FSP" that are currently out there.
