Joe, thanks for posting all of this great info!!!!

Do you have any research which shows what it would take to control a single Hawaiian Island like Hawaii (the Big Island), or Maui?  Total Hawaiian population is only 1.2 Million, with Honolulu accounting for nearly 900,000 of that.
