Limbaugh doesn't know the meaning of the word freedom.  The guy is a fat retarded fascist idiot who tells half-truths and outright lies.  Even Larry Elder (who claims to be Libertarian) is a right-wing conservative wannabe black version of Limbaugh.

I'd have to say if there's one guy on talk radio who seems truly Libertarian it's Tom Leykis.  He's intelligent, witty, insightful, has a great sense of humor, advocates free trade, equality, meritocracy, and performs a valuable service for the community.

Ahh Leykis - I used to listen to him every day when I lived out in LA. Unfortunately, I can't pick up his talk show around Baltimore it seems.

Only problem is that women tend to dislike him (understatement..).

My friend and I currently run an internet-based talk radio station at http://www.tasteofthegoods.com.  If someone would like to do a Libertarian/FSP themed show, we'd be more than happy to have you.  If anyone has any questions, just toss me an e-mail at snazzo@tasteofthegoods.com

Well, I can tell you all that I came to the FSP directly from a link on Boortz's "Nealz Nuze" page. He was talking about the Project for about 10 or 15 minutes one day a couple of months ago and I checked it out and basically forgot about it, until he brought it up again last week. This time I actually spent about 6 hours reading all the info on the site and joined.

Bottom line:
Keep calling those existing shows, but don't stop trying to launch our own!

Even Larry Elder (who claims to be Libertarian) is a right-wing conservative wannabe black version of Limbaugh.

That's pretty harsh, as well as uninformed.  Larry Elder claims to be libertarian with a small 'l'.  He's a registered Republican, and that only a couple months ago; before that he was registered independent for 10 years of his on-air career.  When gay marriage comes up he asks why government has any business recognizing marriage.  When education reform comes up he asserts government has no business getting involved in education.  He advocates completely open borders, made possible by dumping redistributive social programs.  A right-wing conservative is not going to be advocating legalization of all drugs, nor the same for prostitution, gambling, and all other victimless crimes.  A right-wing conservative these days does not speak out against the Patriot Act for its violations of privacy and due process.

The only significant line he's taken lately that appears to run counter to the Libertarian party is his support for the war in Iraq.  He believes Iraq's weapons programs present a clear and present danger to the security of the United States.  If he believed otherwise, he would not approve of the war.

Does this sound anything like Rush Limbaugh?  This guy would be the perfect high-profile friend of the FSP.

Seems though it could be very exspensive to have a online radio show.. I been looking around and found sites and all.

http://www.radiotoolbox.com/online_tools/

can calculate how much bandwith and stream bityes to use.

It could end costing tons of cash.

You would have to think well how many people would I want to listen to the radio station?  Will determin how much will cost.

You also can do promotions and advertising (people pay you to advertise) that could be one way to pay for it...

okay me and a few other people decided we might pay for hosting so someone can use a online radio.  We just need to know who will be owner (we need full first name and last name) how many hours a day will it be up 24/7?

Plus you have to watch out when you have your own online radio.  There is some legal stuff you have to watch out for.

Example: at all in the time you play any music make sure it is part of ASCAP, BMI or SESAC.  If they are not then you can get sued for playing the artist music.

Now from what I see the BEST I mean best for having a radio show is...

live365.com they go in detail what is legal what they cover and so on.

Another good one if you are not playing any music only a talk show type thing I would go for shoutcast.com.

I guess it depends on what type of radio show you want to be hosted.

What about Harry Browne?  He has a show and he is a Libertarian.

I finally got around to calling Free Talk Live radio show as mentioned in the link above.

They didn't seem that thrilled to hear from me or eager to talk about the FSP actually.  They had already mentioned it a couple times in the past, however.

We talk about it at least once a week.  So far this week, it's come up twice.  We asked you some questions, re-defined what the FSP is, and then moved on.  There just wasn't enough for a whole hour, is that what you expected?

No, heck it's your show.  Probably it is better for me and other Porcupines or whoever to have some piece of news or new take on things when we call in so as to give you something fresher.
