While I don't pretend to speak for the leadership of the FSP, I personally would be very much against moving the activist center.

Believe it critical that those who are interested in the FSP, and those who may consider joining be able to see our activism.

While prudence would dictate that we use our words wisely, do not believe it would benefit our effort to hide our activism from those who may be inclined to join us.

The best solution might be to encourage those who wish to engage in political-activist discussions to do so at http://forum.nhliberty.org - anyone can join the NHLA, even FSP non-members and people not planning to move to NH.  FSP-activist discussions should of course remain available to everyone, as now.

To participate in the forum discussion at NHLA you must be a member. Membership is free. To join, please go to http://www.nhliberty.org/join.htm

P.S. NHLA gains more influence with every new member. We really need YOUR support. Thanks!

Steering political discussions to NHLA makes a lot of sense. These FSP boards should be more focused on the FSP itself and NH politics is really not the focus of the FSP (although of major interest) but is certainly the focus of the NHLA.

<<We need to keep our strategy discussions out of the hands of our political opponents.>>

The members-only forum will not accomplish this; anyone determined enough will figure out a way to listen in.  I think it will just give us a false sense of security if we assume it provides secrecy.

Don't put anything on any of the member-only forums that you wouldn't want Kathy Sullivan reading.

Kathy we love ya please keep whining about us.
