thoughts about NV
« on: October 24, 2002, 01:33:54 pm »

well, nevada land is mostly owned by the federal government, and it's population is a little high for our goals, also I don't trust that the goals of the casino powers is the same as other liberty loving folks, but it has some serious advantages

no state income tax, one of only a handfull of states like this

corporations are allowed to be owned by bearer shares for serious privacy,

one of the only states in the US that doesn't share it's info with the IRS

rural areas very pro gun, and still lots of rual areas inspite of government land holdings

leaning toward legalizing marajuana
not so harsh on other sins like gambling and prostitution
(I don't like prostitution, marajuana, or gambling, but the thought that they do not try to pry into peoples lives is attractive.)
