Regarding the 2nd amendment award idea, maybe it should apply only in NH or to those who are from NH?

Also Rich before sending out the news release I hope you'll drop by

http://www.freestateproject.org/about/essay_archive/mediarelations.jsp

and give it a read!  Hope it helps!

I don't know yet what my sched is for 6/18 (or whenever the party is)  but am hoping to be there!

Re: awards only to those inside NH...I think that would defeat our purpose somewhat.   We need to recruit outside of NH, so need media coverage outside.

Couple more thoughts on Kat's move:

is there anything we can do that will be visual for any media that show up?

any forms we can burn?

any NH flag of some kind we can wave?

any maps of NH we can pore over?

bring anything u can think of that's visual.

i think i can make it!  Is all the needed data posted here regarding directions and what not?

I'll be bringing a 12 pack of beer.  I sent out a quickie news release to my outdated media list but no responses so far.

Well, it looks like I too am about to be loosed upon the unsuspecting population of New Hampshire.   Probably leaving before the end of the month.   How about one last get together with me in it?

Looks like the only weekend day that will work for me is Saturday, July 17.   What's say we do TX Land and Cattle on Lemmon at 3PM-6PM?

Count me in for the 17th at Texas Land and Cattle, Dada.  I can't wait to hear the details regarding your move.

Mark is still out gallavanting around New Hampshire, I believe, but perhaps he'll make it an official North Texas group meet too.

Skip.

Hey, I'm back in town. I will post the meeting in yahoo gropus however, I think we should meet at the Bali Moon as a fellow Porc owns it, and we need to support our own.

let me know if this is not possible for some reason.
Thanks.

P.s. I can't believe anyone reads this, it's near impossible to find.

Here's a link to Bali Moon.   The page has a map link too.   See you there at 3-6 PM Saturday the 17th!

Too bad you won't be here to join us, Kat.  You won't, will you?  How do you like Keene, now that you've been there a few weeks?

Arright looks like Bali Moon is temporarily closed for some kind of emergency.  So here is the plan:

For now still plan on going to Bali, but if it is still closed on Saturday I'll leave a note on the front door redirecting everyone to an alternate meeting spot closeby.

There's a great Mexican restaurant called MiCocina on the service road between Frankford and Haverwood right by Balimoon. There used to be a Humperdinks also next to it (not sure if it's still there) that would be good also (wider range of food available) but if the jocks are watching some kind of game we'd have to move away from the bar area to hear ourselves think. There's a PF Changs across the Tollway at the Frankford exit that servs excellent fare and one of those Papadeaux seafood places next to it. There used to be an Italian place next to MiCocina also but it may be a tad dressy. Also a Bar-b-que place on that same strip mall and a nice hamburger place down from that. I'd say go to my family's Mediterranean Jazzbar in Addison but it's too dressy and loud (live bands constantly) and we're not open at 3-6 PM so we'd have no service/food until 5pm.

Humperdinks is closed at that location.  Too bad.  They had a nice cigar room.

There is also a Two Rows Restaurant and Brewery on the west side of the tollway just south of Trinity Mills, less than a minute south of Bali Moon.  $2 pints noon to 6 on Saturdays... :D
