Why have I been a member for about a year and no one has contacted me?

I am from the Wasteland (sorry, Westland ;) )  MI area and would like to get involved.

I am an Objectivist "not" a Liberterian, though.

Welcome E_Clay! I am from the "objectivist" branch of the FSP. While I may vote for LP candidates, I am not a party member.

What part of New Hampshire are you looking at?

SANS and SAGE both do annual salary surveys, you can find the details on their websites.

Most of the IT jobs are concentrated along the Route 128 corridor in Massachusetts and in the Boston area, New Hampshire has been historically more manufacturing and industry oriented but there are, of course, still IT jobs in NH in support of such companies.  Better to work out of NH than Mass, in order to avoid paying the Mass income tax.

We researched apartments before we moved with a few strategic web searches.  We discovered only two complexes seemingly in the entire state of NH which allowed dogs over 40 pounds, so our options were limited.  If you don't have pets, you'll have much more flexibility in that respect.

E_Clay10, I contacted the FSP greeter coordinator with your issue.  It seems that our Midwest greeter has been disconnected from getting info about any new joiners.  So, welcome from a "regular Joe".

I work in Livonia, so if you'd like to get together for some non-socialist company, let me know.

K, so im trying to figure out where the heck I belong... I live south of Canton, OH so I'm roughly East Central Ohio... should I be here or in western PA... I'm trying to figure out how far the center of each is because driving on $2 a gallon isnt cheap even on my little Ranger.  Heres a self-serving idea... have a meeting in Canton during the Football Hall of Fame Inductions, rib burnoff, parades, concerts, and whatever other stuff theyre doing this year.

I've been dealing with the same problem, but since I work in Pittsburgh, I've been more involved with the WPA group.  If there are enough of us, we could make a smaller local group around the East Ohio area.  The group delineations aren't set in stone.

Not really.  The other two guys I tried to welcome the same time as you have never responded, and a fourth person I tried to greet never responded.

The WPA local group dropped off the radar as soon as Jason Sorens left town after his speaking engagement (for which they were coming out of the woodwork at U Pitt Law School).  So all the enthusiasm for tax day stuff immediately after the JS talk disappeared quick.  I don't even know if anyone is protesting in Pittsburgh.  I'll be in Youngstown, if you want to join me (a BW-3 is right down the street for a midnight refreshment.)  I will get there (hopefully) around 7:00.

You still have my phone number?

funny... i want to bw-3's in canton watching the tribe spoil another decent pitching performance... the drive to youngstown is a bit of a stretch and unless theres something productive going on its a little worthless... and im 19 so "being productive" in bars is out... unless its at quaker steak and lube in sharon... they dont seem to care there...  and i'll have to check my email to see if u ever threw ur # in one of them.  Viva a lower damn drinking age so i can get some goddamn killians without buying beer for someone else.

I understand that this post hasn't been updated or replied to in a few months but I was wondering if anyone knew of any form of gatherings or meetings on the subject in the near future in Michigan. I am newly exposed to FSP and whatnot, but nonetheless, I'd like to do my part for spreading the word and giving my imput towards any important descisions.
