Going to New Hampshire in September
« on: February 19, 2004, 04:58:46 pm »

I'm taking a trip to NYC this coming September with my wife Lu, and we plan to drive up to New Hampshire for a couple of days as well.

Any Free Staters want to meet?

My Fiancee and I did this in January, and had a wonderful time.  I'll have a full report on it posted over the weekend (really I will! I've been so busy....)
Everyone we met was wonderful, including Jim Maynard, Justin and his wife, Tony, Cal and his wife, Rich, and Don and Marianne.  It convinced us that NH was the right place.

We only have two days to drive from NYC and back so I'm thinking the southern part of the state, maybe Nashua...

Nothing is set in stone yet, though.

Hi Patrick,

My wife and I live in Concord. Love to meet you and your wife.

Let's do it! We are planning on going to NH the night of Tuesday, September 14 and heading back to NYC on the 15th. Thought we could stay in a bed and breakfast that evening. I would be great to meet for dinner or something with you guys.

My wife and I are taking a vacation to New York City this coming September. We are from Portland, Oregon--so this will be quite a trip for us...

I wanted to take a couple of days and drive up to New Hampshire while we were on the east coast and maybe meet some fellow free staters.

Would anyone like to meet up?

Of course, less I'm dead or in jail, I'll see you.

I hope to be living in Richmond (Cheshire County) by then and I'd love to meet up with anyone coming to see NH!

Yes, they seem real "keen" on that sort of thing :P

I hope to be living in NH by September also, so y'all look me up when you visit.  I'm a Portland native  :)

Sounds good. I'll keep you posted on our plans when September is near.

Oh, and try to stay alive and out of jail!

Any recomendations for restaurants in Keene? I was thinking about stopping by and having dinner with some fellow FSP members.
