How's the market for psychologists in NH?
« on: November 12, 2003, 07:26:28 pm »

I'm a psychologist in private practice and doing quite well.  One very important consideration for me is whether I can continue to do this kind of work in NH.

Anybody know anything helpful here?  Thanks.

Hi Tom,

It sounds like you're a clinical psychologist and would like to continue your practice.  Perhaps purusing the APA or APS membership lists for licensed folks in NH could give you some market research fodder.  Obviously with 20K+ folks moving, some small percentage will require your services, so perhaps you can advertise along with other libertarians moving their small businesses.

I'm an Industrial-Organizational Psychologist (HR/OD, normal people at work is what I know), and did note that there are a few assessment firms that leverage psychology.  Let me know and I'll dig up the references to those, if you're looking to get out of seeing patients.

Nice to know there are other psychologist-porcupines on the team!
