FSP listed as selling point on E-bay Ad

FSP listed as a selling point in E-bay real estate ad for 54 acres near Sullivan:

It is selling for $300,000, 12 miles from Keene.

I wonder if the reason he's selling it is because he can't afford the inheritence and property taxes?

I don't think there are any inheritance taxes on property in NH (although I could be wrong on this point), but if you read the ebay listing you see that it is taxed at "current use," i.e. rural scrub and farmland.  WIth no improvement, I would be very surprised if the total property taxes for that parcel of land exceeds $100 per year.  And on this one, I'm pretty positive.

He would still have to pay federal estate taxes.  Typically parcels of land are sold so the estate can equally give the value to the people in the will.  As opposed to breaking a 50 acre lot into five sections of 10 acres.
