Porcupines (the prickly kind) live in NH

It's nice we've picked a state where porcupines actually live

Yes, and with all due respect to the FSP porcupines, they are ugly, disgusting creatures.  I found their nest in a rock pile in my woods.  They literally poop where they eat.  Such repulsive vermin!  This past winter, they stripped one of my oak trees from top to bottom (they are known to each the soft sub-bark).  NH has an open season on them for this reason.

Interesting page.  Its open season on porcs all year long!

But good thing I read that page.  I had no idea that it was:

Quote
It is unlawful to:

negligently shoot, wound or kill a human being while hunting, or abandon a wounded or killed human being

Gotta have laws, right?  Oh, and also according to that page, it illegal to hunt box turtles.   ::)

Now, if you *intentionall* shot a human being, that would be okay, so long as you properly field dressed it and brought it in to be weighed.

Asides, it ain't sportin' to shoot turtles once you've already got em in a box!!!!

No, you don't need a license to practice archery. You need a license to hunt with a bow.
