Balanced Post-Vote coverage from within NH
« on: October 05, 2003, 09:08:04 pm »

More balanced than positive or negative, the Eagle Tribune is based in Lawrence MA, but covers towns in Southern NH and Northern MA in an area known as the Merrimack Valley.

Live Free or Move

A few quotes from FSP members in there as well, though they somehow got the idea that 5,000 members will be moving within a year.

From Foster's Daily Democrat (Dover):

Free State Project takes off in New Hampshire

Claremont?  How ironic it would be that a town after which an infamous, anti-liberty court decision was named, may be poised for some very pro-liberty reforms!  I know the real estate there is very reasonable.  I also love the idea of Vermonters looking across the river to a shining and free town!  :)

I note that Kate McCann has consistently written fair and balanced articles about the project.

I saw a copy of the article in the Eagle Tribune.  It was about 2/3rds of the front page of section B, with Jason's picture above the fold.  It continued to an inside page where it also reprinted some of the Q&A from the FAQ.
