Could someone from New Hampshire describe the colleges there?

Essentially there are many small liberal arts schools in NH and then an Ivy League College and a Land Grant University.

University of New Hampshire
Plymouth State University
Keene State University
UNH Manchester
several vocational/technical schools around the state
These are part of the University System of NH

Dartmouth College
New England College
Southern New Hampshire University
Daniel Webster College
Franklin Pierce College
Franklin Pierce Law Center (these two are not affiliated)
Rivier College
White Pines College
MacIntosh College
UMASS College of Pharmacy (formerly Notre Dame College)

have I missed any?

what specifics are you looking for?

pick one and go with it--I'll do what I can...

Which ones have the biggest Molecular Biology departments? And how long is the commute to Miskatonic University in Massachusetts?

Gotta be UNH--the only school over 10,000 students...but Dartmouth has a topnotch medical facility, so you can't count out the Ivy's...

Miskatonic?  errr...I went to their website, and they don't appear to have a location in Mass.?  Clarify and I will surely respond as able...

I'm not sure M.U. has a location in space and time that our senses can perceive.  Google Lovecraft.

You WENT TO THEIR WEBSITE? The part of the website that is NOT IN ARKHAM MASSACHUSETTS? You may have undone us all. There is only one hope now: bar your door, and when you hear the "tekel-li, tekel-li" beginning, play some Weird Al Yankovic AS LOUDLY AS YOU CAN.

There are some URLs that Man Was Not Meant To Know (but that any real New Englander WOULD know). Remember now, Yankovic; and ignore the neighbors' pleas for unwholesome silence.

What sort of Universities would any good New Hampshirite (New Hampshironian?) suggest for grad programs in Philosophy, Physics/Astronomy or Astrophysics? Both in one University would be ideal, but two different U's that are close together would work as well. Thanks for your help, in advance. :D

Hey, I helped cater the Miskatonic alumni dinner - class of '92 - wasn't AT the alumni dinner. Don't ask.

But I've got their textbook on probability and statistics here - Charles Fort, four volume set.

And a syllabus for senior seminar: Laboratory on Immanentizing the Eschaton. Artwork indicates Pinky and the Brain and Bender Roboto. It's a 600-level course, so I think you would get graduate credit for it, too.

Also got a library card - 'cause they were knid of stingy on inter-library loans.
