What: Open carry beautification event
Who: All are invited.
When: Sat., June 6 2020 5-6pm
Where: Intersection of Hwy 119 & Ashuelot St., Winchester NH 03470.
How:  Grab a couple trash bags, strap on your firearms (if you wish) and just come help us improve the roadside while sending a message of constructive deterrence.
Needed:  We may be be low on gloves and on places to *put* the trash...but you don't really have to bring anything.
Updates:  Here on the FSP forum and at https://www.facebook.com/events/868063140352188/
Why:  To bring armed civilians together in a constructive manner as the security situation wavers.  Meeting each other now under relatively benign circumstances should improve the neighborhood's ability to react if things deteriorate.

Starting at the intersection of Hwy 119 & Ashuelot St, we'll fan out and pick up trash off the ground while much of the country seems bent on burning down businesses.  Join us in sending a constructive message to aspiring looters regarding private citizens' level of preparedness in Winchester.  Guns optional but encouraged; the more obvious the better.  It's not really time for  rifles on rooftops in these parts, but it *is* time for this.

Background:  Open carry litter pickups began around 2007 in urban Manchester, NH and spread around the country somewhat as a means of creating positive publicity for gun owners while hopefully deterring crime.

As usual, the event is not directed against any peaceable protest group and will be led by a police accountability activist.
