Renamed to the Luck Link Forum
« on: October 10, 2019, 09:56:08 pm »

At this point the FSP Forum should be renamed to The Luck Link Forum

Spamming the forum with thousands of links buries anyone else that might want to have their posts seen.

I realize most of the folks have drunk the Zucking Facebook koolaid, but that is a closed group. So this is the only place for public conversations for people interested in the FSP.

I also realize that the FSP has hidden the forum on freestateproject.org as much as possible.

I seem to recall a thread with a similar complaint in the past.
If I remember correctly, Luck's response was that there seemed to be enough
people reading the posts the justify them.  I have found a couple of useful links
in them, but I usually don't have the time to wade through them all.

Still, I wonder if the FSP would have shut the board down by now if it weren't
for Luck's posts and the reader traffic they presumably generate.

It would be nice if there were more than 5 lines of post notifications.

I agree that the forum isn't given much prominence on the FSP website.  I wonder
how many of the signers have forum accounts?  I recall another post where Jason
wanted to encourage people to start using the forum again vice Facebook, but clearly
it didn't take.  I don't Facebook, so I can't go in to the Facebook page and make the
plea there.

Since I don't do Fakebook either, I don't know just how busy the FSP is on FB. I don't trust the FBers. They are too in bed with the Regime in DC, if you ask me. Free Staters who are usually those who oppose the State's intrusions and criminality, should get away from Fakebook, but if you want to keep that page there that's up to you. I see that my last post was in Feb. of 2018 and I would like to post here again. But then again, if there are only very few readers here...so, who knows.
