Husband and I and the dog are moving 2000 miles to join you. Our current income tax in California? 10%. Income tax in NH? 0%. Win-win.

We are outdoorsy, athletic, in our early 30s, looking to make new friends. We are also looking for temporary 1-3 month housing in the Durham/Portsmouth area. Any furnished dog-friendly sublet leads appreciated.

Any other Silicon Valley rejects here?

Looking forward to welcoming you here! Former FSP prez Carla Gericke used to be a lawyer for tech firms in Silicon Valley. You should hook up with the Freecoast folk (www.freecoast.org) and email Chris Lopez at moved@freestateproject.org to set up move-in help and get the website counter updated.

We're coming from Los Angeles as soon as June but July/August,  realistically.
Been using the padmapper app to get a feel for the housing rental market.

Be sure to checkout http://freecoast.org there are several rotating monthly meetups occurring, one being in Portsmouth.
