Just Signed, But Concerns . . .
« on: August 11, 2015, 04:09:24 pm »

I recently got my A+ (it's an IT certification). I am looking to move soon. Like very soon. Would anyone know about any A+ or other IT jobs in NH that pays enough for me to, you know, live? I'm single, no kids. Just need enough for a car, place to stay and other crap. Looking forward to hearing some good news.

A+ isn't a very strong certification, you could look for jobs at places like geeksquad that do PC repair, or tech support/help desks, but it doesn't go farther then that. Udacity just released some new linux courses: https://www.udacity.com/course/configuring-linux-web-servers--ud299 If you can get familiar with linux (and not necessarily need a certification) You could find alot more jobs on the infrastructure side of the internet.

Okay. Can you tell me what the general job field is like up there? You or anyone else?

I recommend indeed.com for job searches in NH. You can also join the FSP Job Alert group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/fspjobalert/
