Visiting NH Nov 13,14,16-18
« on: October 31, 2014, 03:31:49 pm »

My wife and kids and I are planning on visiting NH on Nov 13-18, with a break on saturday for my wife to go to a 1 day course/seminar in MA.  The plan is to drive down to Amherst, MA early saturday morning, and return to NH in the evening.

The problem is, we have no idea where to go.  Ok, we do have an idea:  to visit Keene, Manchester, and the coast region.  But we've never been to NH before, and we're not sure what would be best to do, or how reasonable it is to try to do so much visiting in the time we have.

Anybody have ideas what part of the state to visit?  And most importantly, where we can stay for part or all of that time?  Our kids are 8 and 6.  We can all stay in the same room.

http://www.nhcalendar.org has most of the events happening around the state. Where to go? Depends on what you want to see & where you want to live. The White Mountains are beautiful to visit, but not many people live there. Check out NH Magazine to find out more about what to do, where to eat, etc. around the state: http://www.nhmagazine.com/ . Finally, if you'd like to get a meet-and-greet together with some Porcs, get in touch with the FSP Welcome Wagon: https://freestateproject.org/move/welcome-wagon
