How is NH for the disabled?
« on: September 25, 2013, 12:23:15 pm »

Hello, everyone!
Looking to move to NH within the next few years.  Love it there!  Right now I live in the Peoples Republic of New Jersey.  'Nuf said.  My biggest concern is I have a very, very disabled son.  Does anyone have any info on services for those with disabilities in NH or know who I could contact?  I live in South Jersey on a quarter acre lot and my property taxes alone are $10,000.   I'm a freedom lover through and through and I'm not getting any of that here.  Thanks for any info you could provide.

Hi, sorry I don't have an answer for you, but this is a topic of interest for me as well.  It might be worth contacting one of the local support groups.  Here's a link to a few
http://nhfv.org/how-we-can-help/support-groups/   Hopefully, they can put you in touch with the appropriate providers or non-profit agencies to meet your sons needs.
