SEABROOK — Town officials got some welcome economic news during Tuesday night’s planning board meeting.

US Foods, one of the nation’s largest food distributors, made an informal presentation regarding plans to move their Peabody, Mass., facility to the former Poland Springs warehouse building on Ledge Road.

Seabrook Town Manager Bill Manzi said the move would bring about 250 jobs from Massachusetts and about 100 more jobs would be added.

Cool. Thanks for sharing. Seabrook also has the lowest property taxes in the Seacoast Region of NH. Though, that will change if the power plant is ever shutdown.
