AltExpo#12 at Liberty Forum
« on: February 10, 2013, 01:59:27 pm »

Remember when we started up the rebel alliance conclave with AltExpo#0 at Liberty Forum 2007?

Well, we're at it again, but the "alternatives" idea has become much more mainstream in the movement, or, another way to say it is that many porcupines are coming back into the (hard-core, consistently libertarian) movement from the political wilderness!  ;)

We'll be in the Amphitheater in the basement of the hotel all day Saturday, 23 February. Your LF registration covers you and there should be an AltExpo-only reg set up soon, if you'll ONLY be attending AltExpo events.

Here's the Facebook event page: https://www.facebook.com/events/528830513814453

We've all got that "individualism" thing down to a T now, so AltExpo#12 is emphasizing building New Libertarian community. See you there!

Are you guys also doing a table at Freedom Expo?  If so, you can get a table now (before Liberty Forum) for only $20 for the whole day, 10am-6pm.  We've got a lot more people involved in getting Freedom Expo together this year, and we're advertising early and often.

The AltExpo schedule is up on our Facebook page here: https://www.facebook.com/events/528830513814453

We'll have an eye-opener casual session Saturday morning 8AM - 10 with continental breakfast (donations appreciated) - we may have a special guest then giving us some tips on "The Inner Game of Activism"

We'll also have our usual Expo Village with some roomshare space available for people that don't have a hotel room or other place to stay. Just post on the FB group if you're interested. Split of room cost is asked.

Jack, would you and/or other volunteers be willing to do AltExpo at Freedom Expo on April 27th?  It's at the Exeter Town Hall, and we still have space available (huge room) for people willing to either sell stuff or set up demo tables.  Right now, we're looking for volunteers for some of our lesser manned tables, but AltExpo would be a cool addition to the event.
