one final step a job
« on: February 27, 2013, 10:20:22 am »

I have committed to the FSP and my arrival was to be in 3 to 5 years. I now would like to come asap but I need to provide for my wife and two little ones. I have been looking to buy an existing landscaping business or something in the labor field.  I would even entertain going in with a partner. I would also work for someone if I can make enough to provide. I have been using but has not been too helpful. Any help, advice, or direction would be much appreciated. Also, I have no interest in goverment jobs! Thats what Im trying to get away from. Ideally I am trying to get a little homestead to teach the kids selfreliance and a job or business that can provide with the everyday living. Thanks Craig

Welcome to the FSP Forum!

I don't know much about landscaping. However, there are lots of resources to help you find a job. Check my sig file.

Landscaping is seasonal, and you can take advantage of it to stay busy year-round in NH if you include snow removal. Firewood is good, too.

Compost the leaves and lawn clippings, and you can sell the mulch for gardens.
