Decent looking women in New Hampshire?
« on: January 11, 2013, 03:21:56 am »

Not to sound too shallow, but if I cant find a good woman then it probably won't work.  I dont mean this to be a dating profile, I just want to know if there are decent looking women around the age of 32 that are considering doing this.  I moved from California to Wyoming to be in a freer state, but I havent seemed to meet any libertarian women out here.  This is not meant to be offensive or all encompassing, just some observations.  Conservative girls are kind of boring, liberal girls are fun but obnoxious, and libertarian girls....I have never met one, but I think they are all lesbians (no offense).  Seriously though.  I grew up super conservative and I have become super libertarian.  I am open to all types of people, but I am more of the eventually settle down and have kids kind of person.  I cant imagine I am the only person thinking this.  Maybe someone else already posted.  Any info would be much appreciated.

I think your best bet is to convert your girl to libertarianism.

This. What I did.

I met my wife at PorcFest, back in '05.  We married later that year.

So yes, libertarian women exist.

But remember that NH is the most libertarian state in the US.  The odds of finding a libertarian woman here are greater than any place else.  She may not call herself that, though, as she may not know that believing others should be left alone if they want to be left alone is anything special.

Haha, fair question! Reminds me of my youth when I was dating that French socialist graphic artist. It took her a few years, but she finally came around to be rabidly libertarian, even though I was still in the late phases of my paleo-con days. Once properly expressed, liberty catches a hold of you and never lets go.

In all seriousness, this is an issue I'm working to address.

I have a buddy that married a bay area modern liberal California girl and the crazy came out gradually until they were split up. Years later while visiting his daughter in CA he called me from a coffee shop and the conversation went as follows:

Buddy: "Hey, I'm sitting in this coffee shop in San Fran and there are pretty women everywhere"

Me: "Have you not learned yet?"

Buddy: "Huh, since when do you not appreciate attractive women?"

Me: "Modern liberal woman should have the song "She's Not Pretty, She Just Looks That Way" playing to remind us all of the danger.

Buddy: Spfff................ Static.

Later on he told me he'd spit a mouthful of coffee onto his phone. To my way of thinking, it's difficult to meet a logical woman anywhere and yes, you may need to help someone wake up but they at least need a foundation. Ask early about their views on liberty and maybe you'll find common ground. In reality, if libertarianism had lots of women, there would be lots of men since men often follow women as evidenced by all the emotionally driven groups.

I've met many beautiful women in NH.  There are some beautiful female porcs too.  And Boston is right to the South.

A MAN'S POEM:
I pray for a deaf-mute gymnast nymphomaniac with
big tits who owns a bar on a golf course,
and loves to send me fishing and drinking. This
doesn't rhyme and I don't give a shit.

Can you guys ease up on the creepertarianism just a little? :-/ There are many women in the FSP, but perhaps not as many as there could be if men were better behaved in public.

Creepertarianism.  Really.  The comments seemed pretty tame to me.  And funny too.  And I dont think men are to blame for womens lack of involvement.  I think it has more to do with the general demasculinization of society.  Gone is the idea of the rugged individual, replaced by the ideal of team work and compromise.  But how can you compromise when someone wants to take away your personal rights.  I think right now is a time in this countries history that we need individuals willing to take a stand.  Men and women.  I just want to know where are the women!

Not to sound too shallow

Too late.

In defense of the shallow, I would like to point out that we are moving with the prospect in mind of building a permanent life in the Free State. Lifetime companionship is part of that life, and really can be a deal-breaker for some people. Somehow talking about all the booze that's swilled in NH is fine, but talking about companionship is shallow? Don't think I can agree.

Of course that makes sense. In this case, though, leading off with "good looking", and following that with the recitation of crude stereotypes, made the poster come across as shallow.

I agree with other posters that there seem to be fair numbers of liberty-minded women in New Hampshire, although I'm not sure how many would be impressed with this particular type of approach.

True. And I wouldn't lead with "good-looking" either. I think, though, that some guys feel less awkward saying "hot babes" than "nice sweet soul mates," so they "tough bluff."

This does seem like a strange 1st post. Normally, people say hello. They talk a little about themselves and ask questions about NH. Well, you did ask a question...

If you asked to people wear lots of makeup and dress all fancy in NH, yes. I find that is most common in the Portsmouth area. It's also really common in Boston. Not that common in rural NH. There are more important things like working, living and having a good time :)
