I would like to hear your recomendations for places to live in NH that combine the wonders of nature, a vibrant culture, and pro liberty activism?

Often, where someone prefers comes down to urban vs. rural and perhaps what types of activism they favor. Based on your description, Keene is the first place that comes to mind as somewhere you might be interested in. I definitely recommend coming to visit and exploring different areas, if possible! Otherwise, choose a central location where you can land, and once you've experienced the state you will likely have a much better idea of where your preferences lie.

For a somewhat lengthy discussion of various regions, check out this Where to Live in New Hampshire panel from Porcfest 2012.

It all depends on how far you are willing to travel to each of those 3 things, and how far you want to be from the rest of the state.  If you live near Manchester, you can have quick highway access to all those things.  If you want to be involved in government, probably better to select a town near Manchester than the city itself.
