If 20,000 FSPers in NH would that mean 200 state reps?

Probably not, but definitely a nice big number more. :-)

It'll be a good thing, that much is certain.

On top of which once the FSP reaches 20k and people start moving in large numbers (if they hold to their pledges) I think that will start a much larger movement of liberty leaning people to NH since the FSP will be seen as a success at that point even if it hasn't accomplished much on the ground in NH by that point.  I was very disappointed by the general election results, but the local elections look much better.

Wife of free stater gets elected in one town, not a free stater herself.  Switched from Dem to GOP at some point in the past I believe.

Are you speaking of the one whose free stater husband was re-elected to his seat in the house? They have the same initials?

It looks like FSP state reps in NH went from 0 to 1 to 4 to somewhere in the 12-14 range to around 11 this time. Not bad. Not bad at all. That is with just 1,100 FSPers in NH. That means 1 FSP state rep per 100 people in NH. If 20,000 FSPers in NH would that mean 200 state reps?
I think it has more with FSP members willingness to run, and expend the time to sit in Concord.

By my count, cumulatively there have been 19 FSPers elected to NH State House since 2006.

The early movers are the hardcores. I think hitting the goal # will be wonderful and we will def have more success, but I don't think it's realistic to think it would be proportionate. However, I do agree that more people will consider the move if and when we can hit that goal number and that's all very encouraging.

That's for sure. In my opinion, that's actually how success in the FSP comes about. The pioneers blaze the trail, then the settlers arrive.

Personally, I would like to see the Free State Project never die, and certainly not stop at 20k in NH. The whole organizational infrastructure is just too good. In the long run, wouldn't it be good to "take down" as many states as possible?

I think this is the only project that actually has the real potential to 'take back' the country over the long time. It's interesting and a great strategy. It will take a LONG time to fully execute, but we may be the last hope for liberty and freedom and the old idealistic american values.

That's why I put it in quotes... ;-)

I think America will be able to clear it's mind of the allures of socialism once we're successful in the FSP and they'll want to emulate that.
