Java Software Engineer
6 months contract
Manchester, NH
Phone screen then face to face interview.

Primarily responsible for developing various user interfaces and enhancing the configuration of a system that allows an installer at a customer site to control and manage cellular networking equipment across multiple product lines.


Web-based development of software that interfaces to and manages FPGA controlled RF circuitry.
Develop and enhance operator login access levels and security
Develop or enhance system operating and performance statistics
Integrate multiple system configurations into various carrier-based network management systems
Document code and set standards for best practices in coding and design
Create and modify software programming for testing and product release
Participate in technical reviews to ensure product quality
Practice good communication inside and outside the development team
Estimate time and effort on projects and tasks
Demonstrate ownership and responsibility for assigned tasks

5 + years Java experience on a commercial application

Proficient with Object-Oriented programming and design concepts
Proficient writing software using Java, HTML, JavaScript, Ajax and CSS
Experience with PHP, SQL, JSON, and XML.
Experience using ExtJs GWT (GXT).
Demonstrated knowledge of Google Web Toolkit and Rich Interface Application Framework.
Understanding of TCL/CGI or other scripting language.
Solid understanding of HTTP and client-server technology
Demonstrated experience in implementing EventListeners
Knowledge of MVC and other design patterns
An understanding of embedded C is desirable
Knowledge and experience with Windows Operating System
Knowledge and experience with the Eclipse IDE
Knowledge of methodologies used in Networking and Network Management Systems
Ability to multi-task, prioritize tasks and quickly adjust in a rapidly changing environment
Good documentation and process discipline
