Release and Build Engineers - Nashua

We are seeking an outstanding release and build engineer. Job responsibilities include working with Development and QA to build releases, program complex installers, process on-demand build requests and assist with hands-on testing of the release through automated and manual methods. You will manage and expand, as needed, existing infrastructure used for building and configuration management. The right candidate will be detail-oriented, able to demonstrate versatility with tool sets, have the ability to multi-task and be ready to learn as well as contribute in a dynamic environment.

Here’s what you should bring to the table:

    BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Physics or equivalent experience
    2+ years experience in release and build engineering
    Detail-orientation and the ability to single-handedly track a patch release cycle
    Programming experience in Java is helpful
    Demonstrated proficiency with Apache ANT
    Strong knowledge of shell scripting such as csh, ksh; common scripting languages such as Python or Perl is helpful
    Experience using Rational ClearCase is helpful
    Experience with Windows Installer; InstallAnywhere and InstallShield is helpful
    Experience working on multiple environments – Linux (required) and Windows (required)
    Experience with manual or automated testing of desktop applications on one of the above platforms.
    Must be motivated to have an impact on our products, our company, and the state of the art.
