Move to NH by Nov 15th & Vote on Const. Income Tax Ban
« on: June 06, 2012, 03:36:31 pm »

Both House, Senate pass income tax ban amendment
CONCORD – New Hampshire voters will be able to decide whether they want to prohibit an income tax at the November general election after both the House and Senate today approved CACR 13.

Two thirds of voters need to approve the amendment.  So few people bother to vote in NH that Free Staters will likely have a significant impact of the vote.  I think that's especially true with the presidential election basically being between two people that are exactly the same which should lead to lower than normal turn out. There's a good chance that we'll see the NH Constitution amended to ban income taxation. 8o)

Good point but it is 11/6/12.

Also, people are more likely to vote in NH than in most states.  Maybe you are right and the turnout will be low.

Right now, I'm expecting CACR 13 will pass.

No reason whatsover to expect a low turnut in the Novemebr election.
  - presidential race
  - open seat gubernatorial race
  - many open state senate races

CACR13 will need a good emdia campaign to counter what the other side will be doing.
