Best Place to Live for Legal Professional
« on: February 13, 2011, 03:58:23 am »

Hi - I am interested in the free state project and am considering moving to NH.  I am a lawyer in California, and would have to get legal-related employment of some kind (insurance company?  corporation?) in NH.  It would then take me a few months to study for and pass the bar.  But anyway, what is an area that is not "big city" but has reasonable prospects for an outsider seeking such employment????

I would guess COncord, Nashua, Manchester, Portsmouth... the 'big cities'

Check BAE,  Fidelity, Liberty Mutual, for jobs ...they are some big companies here.

Realize that none of the "big cities" mentioned above are big by California standards.  And even the most populated parts of New Hampshire are no more that 20 minutes or so away from a completely rural area.

Yeah, I've been outside the big city before...that is one of the reasons I like the idea of NH actualy

Anyway, it souns like there are some possibilities, and I appreciate any other suggestions as well.
