I was wondering how often do people that have moved to NH visit the state they previously lived in?  And I'm not talking about those who are from New England either, thats too easy... Also what reason are you visiting for?  I plan to expand on this, but I want to see what sort of responses I get...

Once a year or so to visit family, visit with an old friend or two, visit an attraction that I thought about seeing but never did when I lived in the area and do FSP outreach (attend political meetings, spread flyers at the colleges, chalk outside the colleges, spread flyers at the libraries, spread flyers at the rest areas).  I may start to do this less if life gets too busy in NH.

The last time I was in California (born there and spent too much of my alleged maturity there) was the 1996 Worldcon.  I don't expect to step foot in the former independent country where I was born (Mom was out west in the army for a couple years) but they caved to the Feds more than a century before I was spawned, ever again.

Mom's family has been in New Hampshire since about the time of the Salem trials (I'm not sure if that's a connection, but it's fun to speculate).  Mom and the sisters (and a whole bunch of my sisters' descendants) are in Manchester, a town I prefer to avoid.

I got about 4-5 times a year  but because it is for work... otherwise it would probably only be 1-2

I haven't moved yet, but after I do, I am thinking I will probably visit Utah / Colorado about every two years, unless someone dies, in which case I will have a last minute trip for the funeral. I am also considering the possibility, after a few years, of moving back and joining the Wyoming project.

I haven't been back to Virginia since I have moved.
I would stop and visit if I head south for vacation.

I do go to the socialist republic of New Jersey ever Couple of months to see family.
I go more often than I did in VA but that is due to not working nights and weekends anymore.
