Tell your wife that if she moves, I'll lend her the Power 9.

Otherwise, I'll lend YOU the Power 9.

Either way, I win.

If that doesn't do it for her, tell her I'll supply her drinks (her choice) for the first two Magic "n00b nights" that happen in Derry every week. Literally, every week, between 10 and 20 people gather to have fun play Magic and teach new players the game. If she's good, she can play on Monday's where the "hardcore people" are. If she's interested in safe, social environment, she won't be able to beat Barskey's place.

Finally. Here's the gotcha.

If you or your wife have questions, e-mail m e. kevin@foreverdean.info

You have the power 9!? I'm not even a magic player ... but aren't those worth thousands?

Having said that the Magic game... will probably be 'after hours' open to all.

BTW, for folks wanting to play MtG, we're going to be doing it after Turkey Day dinner at my place, so bring your decks, eh.  I'm new and just grabbed my first deck, so go easy on me.

If you're on facebook, the event is called "Thanksgiving Dinner Potluck" and will be going on all afternoon and evening at my place in Seabrook, from 3pm-1am or so.  14 Charles Henry Way

I still lose by 10 or more. I'm gonna start trying wild strategies, like all instants or all walls.

Or invent your own cards and pass them off as legit.

I've been thinking of adding MtG to Movie Night Sundays at my place in Seabrook.  Reason being, that I've been basically waiting around bored from about 5pm on for folks to show up to the event.  We put the movie on around 8pm, eh.

Is there interest in adding a MtG game on Movie Night Sundays?  Eh? ;D

no.

I LOLed.

That's positive. (For debatatarians, that's a sarcastic comment--meaning that the statement, "no," is actually not positive at all.)

Doing it anyway, bud.  After MtG, we're checking out Fistful of Dollars for Movie Night Sundays, this week.  The event is canceled for next week (Dec 13th) because I'm going down to the Boston Area Libertarian Meetup to try and recruit some folks, eh.

Good for you. I hope you guys have fun. I wasn't laughing that you're having a Magic night, I'm laughing that you've burned enough bridges that after posting the idea and several days passing, the first reply was just "No".

The bridges burned were to parts of the state I have no desire to visit again.  That's all I'm going to say about that.
