Arriving in Nashua in 1 week
« on: October 21, 2009, 09:05:22 am »

Hi guys and gals,

I'm moving to Nashua and I'll be arriving in the middle of next week.

About Me: my fb profile is universal i think http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#/tyler.deaton?ref=profile

I work for myself, a company I started in college, incorporated in Nevada as The Rational Actor Corporation.  I do internet retail top-to-bottom consulting, with a specialty in international e-commerce.  It's a nice gig.  I got into it by first being a book collector and then a bookseller and then learning how to make money teaching others how to do the same.  I also tool around with web app development, software development, web/graphic design, and other 2.0 kinda things.  I also like to write here and there.

I consider myself to be an anarcho-capitalist or radical contractualist.

I've held these political views roughly since adolescence, and I've been trying to figure out what to do with them.  There's a lot of reasons why I'm coming to New Hampshire; I learned of the FSP a couple months ago, and that helped solidify a lot of the research I'd been doing.

I've found a great apartment in South Nashua, practically on the state line.  I'm excited to get there and meet all of you, and I suppose it's Murphy's Taproom where I'll meet you - is that right?

Look forward to meeting you in the near future.  If you haven't done so already, please sign the FSP S.O.I. to become an official participant.  Then when you get here, click the counter.  Seth will follow with instructions on that  You're gonna love it here -- no longer stuck in the ideological wilderness.  Welcome home.

Yay! Another ancap!  8)

Like my signature says... join the NH Liberty Alliance now, before you move, so you can hit the ground running!

Also... a bunch of FSPers (and native NH libertarians) are running in local elections on Nov 3rd, they could all use help holding signs at the polling places. Off the top of my head, some who could use help are:

Hey,

I can help on Monday and Tuesday; I don't see why not.  I'm really excited to do so.  Also, can you do same-day registration and voting in NH?

Yes.
Technically, all you need is to sign an affidavit swearing you won't vote anywhere else. Generally it's a good idea to bring a utility bill, though, in case the nice volunteer at the polling place isn't as familiar with state law as, say, some of the members of the NH Liberty Alliance ;)

Sorry I didn't see your post earlier. I've lived in Nashua for over 25 years, so please call anytime with any questions. Also, every Wednesday night, there'll be a group of us at Borders Bookstore in South Nashua (behind the Chili's Restaurant).

Come on down to Peddler's Daughter on Sunday at noon for the Nashua Weekly Liberty Discourse.
Next week (1/17/10) we'll be discussing the first part of Harry Browne's book Why Government Doesn't Work. http://bit.ly/7FFIge
