Just joined FSP and moving to NH within the month
« on: August 08, 2009, 10:35:55 am »

Hi you guys!  I've heard about the free state project for a while and it ultimately helped me make my decision on where to pursue my graduate education.  I'm a young adult and I'm extremely happy to see such an array of like minded individuals such as those in NH/FSP.  I fully intend on being as active as possible to contribute to taking this country back to its inception and restoring basic freedoms that are slowly slipping away.  Like I said I'm a young adult and it's really a shame the amount of lack of knowledge, intrest, and passion those in my age group have for our great country.  I notice they are a product of the mass infusion of indoctrination that is occuring in academia that has got to stop.  I for one can vouch for the unbelievable magnitude that professors have begun to shape whatever subject into communist retoric.  I trully hope NH is a place where liberty can reign and begin to set an example for other states.  I'm excited about life in NH and excited about getting involved with FSP.

Great!  Has she signed the statement of intent as well?

I'll make sure she does.  (of her free will of course).  She's honestly not as involved as I've been in regards to national freedom etc, but she believes and agrees with me when we discuss issues.  She just knows not to get me started or it will take me awhile to calm down. But when I've explained the FSP she is enthusiastic about the movement and sense of commnunity.

1. porcmanor.com to find a place to stay month to month (with other freestater)--they'll help get you established and network with folks

2. drive around New Hampsha checking out towns.  There are like 5-6 colleges just in Manchester, but the best know college is UNH-Durham, out by the seacoast.  Seabrook is a 25 minute drive (and two tolls, I think) but there are closer places in the northern seacoast area.  If you're within about two miles of the ocean, you even benefit from the milder ocean effect--and lower utility bills.

3.  Don't sign a lease!  Especially sight unseen or on short notice.

Don't be left behind, man.  Pack your gear and get on in!  There's tyranny to be fought.

It's all right--we'll leave some bad laws for you...

Thanks for all the support!  I have already found a place in nashua.  I'll be going to school in Mass, but made a point to live in NH.  I definitely will check out all the activism opportunities available.
