PF09: Lost and Found
« on: July 02, 2009, 07:12:42 am »

While I cherish the checkered blue boxers I found on the volleyball court during one of the downpours, if it's yours...

FOUND:
Miller's game board (I'll bring to Taproom)
Green DBI Sala mug
Black umbrella
Tan 'Fairview Lake Camp' cap
Camelbak water bottle, with water
Pink Cybershot purse (made in China)
Emerald green Eddie Bauer water bottle
Dangling half-moon earrings with tassels and small banana hairclip
Black butterfly blade
Sony battery charger
Red bottle opener
One golden ladies sandal (Me to Roger's owner in post-fest conversation: "Someone lost one shoe." Him: "Oh I know who that is. Her name is Peg." Me: "Peg?" Him: "Yes Peg, she only has one leg.")
Samsung cell phone (claimed)
Green fleece zippered sweatshirt
Black 'Mad Sin' hoodie

Feel free to post here if you have lost something or found something... Thanks!

It really sucks that one of "our own" stole something.

That's quite an assumption to make.  There were plenty of campers besides PorcFest attendees and things to sometimes get misplaced or mistakenly taken.

It was taken Sunday morning....it was not misplaced. Yes, it could have been a non-porc.....but the majority of poeple camping near us were porcs...if not all of them. It could have been anyone.....

How do you lose a 16 foot long, 2 foot high sign? LOL. We have it. Found it in the vendor area on Sunday, and thought it had been left behind. It's at the Freedomes in Henniker, rode back in the Porcupine Bus. Quite a trip, actually.

"Yes, it could have been a non-porc..."   =  fact  =  reasonable doubt  =  quite an assumption to make.

Cool!  Thats a good place for it.  If
it got up to BP, that would be even better!

Sorry Lloyd, would bring it up but I'm heading out of state for a family event, won't be back till after BP. It's here if someone want to come by and get it.

The earrings belong to Jessie.

I saw more than one of those during the week.
It is possible that it was taken by mistake. Or that it was misplaced or left.

Is it marked in any way?

Not unless they mistakenly walked onto someone else's site and mistakenly thought it was theirs.

I have a sister who always used to claim that someone stole something.  When it wasn't misplaced by her, it was almost always accidentally taken.  We made fun of her for a long time about accusing before asking.  She stopped...   ;D

And you know it was one of “our own,” how exactly?
