As part of my job, I have to be "on call" for tech emergencies. Does anybody know if Rogers has wifi at the campground OR if there's decent AT&T coverage for a USB card?

Yes, there's wi-fi at the campground near the office.  It won't reach to your campsite, but we do have wireless access in the store, the cafe, at the registration desk, in the "Bingo Hall" (where the exhibitors are).  So you will be able to work from there as needed.  Glad to hear you get paid while attending PorcFest.

I'd guess that AT&T won't be very strong there.  Verizon is the best in most of the state.

You'll be covered in the main campground office area, even sitting in the hot tub!  Do you have a water-proof cover for the laptop?

Nope, but that's all I need. I won't be working full time. I plan to do way too much drinking to do that. But in an emergency, I might need to grab my laptop and run away.

No waterproof cover needed.
