Private Security Jobs
« on: May 11, 2009, 12:48:45 am »

I've noticed several private security firms in Southern NH are hiring.  One is a customer of mine and I'd be happy to recommend anyone (qualified) who is interested.  The jobs are generally overnight guard and security escort gigs, 12 hr shifts that pay about $13 ph.

What would be deemed qualified? I know cali has guard cards you have to obtain. Does it matter what state its obtained from if its necessary?

No felony convictions on your record.

NH does have a guard license, some companies require it, but not all.

Some may want you to get a concealed carry license.

Someone at the Seabrook power plant told me that their rapid response team is still hiring.  I hear good things, but don't know much about it.

I saw a job post @ jobsinnh.com a couple of months ago in regards to that power plant. I think Wakenhut was the security company, though haven't seen any recent job posts from them... It paid like ~$18 per hour and interested me greatly. If I remember correctly, the security position required one to carry a semi-auto rifle.

I've been talking with a security company and they've offered to pay a percentage on all the new jobs I can bring them, as well as taking my recommendations on people to staff those jobs.

If anyone is interested in collaborating, let's talk.

My husband is a current Public Safety officer and is armed.  He would need more an hour though.  Let me know if you have any openings for that.  Thanks.

I'm doing some work with one of these firms now, both in sales and in security.  Email me and let's talk.

No, I think it's out of Salem.

The one I'm working with is out of Salem.  You can certainly get the license after getting hired by a place, but it's going to be easier to get the job initially if you've already got the license.  Starting pay will be higher, too.
