Convert Christians to FSP - Gregory: State is not Government
« on: April 21, 2009, 12:45:56 pm »

* The Bible is Libertarian, so it's not so hard to convert Bible believers to Libertarianism. The first 2 commandments in the Bible are about loyalty to the spirit of peace and goodwill and the warning not to submit to idols means those who oppose the spirit of peace and goodwill. James called the Bible the Perfect Law of Liberty. The Bible calls idolators Beast, meaning those who act like beasts, using aggression against each other. In the Bible, the word "Fornicate" usually refers to being intimate with or submitting to the Beast, i.e. to those who behave like beasts, such as conventional statists. Most Christians have made a mess of translating the original Biblical message, which was of peace and liberty. These webpages provide abundant evidence for these claims.

The Prime Directive of the Church: No one shall exercise dominion over others [1]
_Matthew 20:25-27 But Jesus called (the apostles) unto him, and said, You know that the princes of the Gentiles exercise dominion over (their people), and they that are great exercise authority upon them. (26) But it shall not be so among you: but whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister; (27) And whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant:
_>> Any organization, government, or trust that violates the prime directive (by exercising dominion as per Matthew 20:25-28) is not the Church, nor is it a part of the Church.

* My fellow Voluntarists, Gregory has some more to say lately at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OplmP0T8v0U. He says a state and a republic not long ago meant the people, not the government. He also seems to advise against participating in government, which some free staters already agree with, but I disagree on that, since I think it's possible to make the government the servant of the people, instead of the people's master, which might be suggested by Rev. 11:15, which states that the kingdoms, i.e. governments, of man are to become kingdoms of God, which means non-authoritarian & Libertarian.
