Moving up this week. :D
« on: March 25, 2009, 08:55:50 pm »

howdy! I've bit the bullet, put in my two weeks two weeks ago and am driving up to NH on Friday (was planning on later, but things get bad down here quick :D). Plan is to start a business without paperwork in the keene area... (maybe... that part is still up in the air), get married in may, and live in NH with my wife :)

Pensacola is like a black hole of doom, so i figured I'd come up as soon as I can, or not at all. Driving my trusty escort running at 10mpg (thinking of making a bumper sticker that says that :D). Planning to live stream part of the trip... don't know if I can do anything on the way up to promote FSP, so if anyone has any ideas, let me know. :D

You should make the decision that leaves you in the best financial situation.  You are planning on moving, that is for sure.  Working out the best possible scenario is important.  Makes for less of a headache.

I agree with Sonio, although I'm always tempted to say "Just do it!"

How about this Seth:  JUST DO IT, as soon as you are in what you consider to be the best financial situation!!!!!!!

Doesn't have the same ring.  ;)

Really though, it doesn't help anyone to come to NH before you're financially ready.  The most important thing is to actually make a plan.  Not a back of the napkin plan, an actual plan with dates and actions associated with those dates.

I'm working on several projects that will enable prospective Free Staters to earn money out of state with home-based businesses that can be continued once you've moved.  However, all of them involve business to business selling and that isn't everyone's cup of tea.  If you are interested, please contact me and we can talk.

Anti,
Welcome home!  After you get settled in, please come to Manchester on a Tuesday evening to meet fellow Porcupines at the weekly Taproom Tuesday gathering.  There is usually a carfull that drives out from Keene.
And don't forget to click the counter!
