Tenting available in Grafton before and after Porcfest 2009
« on: February 22, 2009, 12:34:03 pm »

The Grafton Gang will be offering tenting/no hookups RVing for visitors before and after Porcfest. So if you are getting here early or staying late, there will be a place for you to crash for a few days. Silent Bob calls this the Porcupine Recreation Area. It is also known as Hoyt Farm, the Burning Porcupine Site, and Animal Farm.

There is about 10 acres of grassy areas for tents. The outdoor shower will be up and running again and some primitive outhouses. There is drinking water available and a brook to get soaked in. The view of the surrounding hills is pleasant. Bonfires are an Animal Farm specialty.

Contact one of us to make your reservations and get directions.

The official Burning Porcupine Festival will be surrounding the 1st full moon in July and Independance Day.

"Resolve to serve no more, and you are at once freed. I do not ask that you place hands upon the tyrant to topple him over, but simply that you support him no longer; then you will behold him, like a great Colossus whose pedestal has been pulled away, fall of his own weight and break in pieces." -- Etienne de La Boetie, The Politics of Obedience: The Discourse of Voluntary Servitude
