Yeah, but none of them were visibly armed!

I'm 19 F and plan on moving to NH. I have similar concerns.  I also wonder if there are very many young people moving to NH.  I'm pretty sure that I will be moving alone so I want to make sure there is a good social group since it will be difficult leaving my family.

Well, it depends on how many many is, but I know at Social Sundays here in Keene there are plenty of sub-25 year olds around, and at least two, including myself, have moved in about the last month. I don't know anything about the people in the Manchester area though. :/

Welcome Erin!

There are lots of people moving (especially lately) and most of them are young.  The libertarian social scene in NH (especially Manchester and Keene) is unbelievable, and growing all the time.  On any given Tuesday, there might be 30-50 people at Murphy's Taproom in Manchester for Taproom Tuesday.

I would figure 3-6 months saved is a good start.

Figure your food and rent for 6 months  plus the travel.  (some might say this is high... some low) It depends on how quickly you think you will get a job.

Considering the topic of this thread, I would say it also depends on how cute you are...    ;D
