I like ad1

The NH label works on the 2nd panel

3rd panel:
can we extend the time that it's displayed (so we can have more text)?

How about:
Be Free
Be Happy
See New Hampshire

The feedback is that it's good, but suggestions are:

1) Reduce the text on last slide.  Something simple, maybe:  Be Happy...Come to PorcFest.  www.PorcFest.com

Can I get specifics on the text before I make changes again so we can be more confident in the final product? Is that exactly what you want? Be Happy Come to Porcfest URL ?

Let's give a day for others to make suggestions.  At this point, I'm suggesting/requesting:

Be Happy...

Come to Porcfest

www.PorcFest.com

i like it. quick and to the point.

Sounds like we have the new specs.  Dale, please post a modified version.  Thanks.

3rd panel:
can we extend the time that it's displayed (so we can have more text)?

I'm just trying to convey what this looks like on my side. Are you absolutely sure that's what you want? I know your original hope was to get this ad campaign started on April 1st. This isn't an extended April Fool's Day gag, is it?  :)

The issue with the amount of text I think stemmed from it only being displayed for a short period of time.  If it's displayed longer, we can justify more text.

I know the back and forth, iterative design process is annoying, but please bear with it :-)

Copy the light blue background from the second slide as the background (in place of the white background) for the 1st and 3rd slides and I think we're good to go.  If anyone else has any final comments/requests/suggestions, please state them now :-)

Actually I think I meant the background to be kind of a light gray on the first slide to show a transition to a pretty sky blue on the 2nd slide but just forgot to do it. I'm a little worried the text, at least some of it, and state outline is going to wash out on the third slide but I'll try it and see. I'll post it both ways for feedback. I really think the sky should be sort of gray on the first slide though.

Crap, both versions with the blue / gray sky changes got too big. It's a little bit random, all based on the color indexing. Both of them are about 18k.

Attached.

I've tried a few different things and it appears that whitespace is saving us a couple kb.

Can you adjust the compression/image quality?

I said earlier that 64 colors was the lowest before the quality dropped off drastically. Here's what I was talking about at 32 colors. It's really bad. And basically anything between 32 and 64 won't make a significant difference because it's still going to use 6 bit color indexing.

Sorry, Rich. I have to work on my website and at least get tomorrow's post ready before I can work on this anymore today. I often end up working kind of late on it, so it may be tomorrow before I can work on any more changes for this. If I do get done and it's not too late, I'll give you a call.

PNG can't be animated and it makes the file bigger.

Looks good, Dale.  The timing between slides is good.
I don't like the font used for the NH in the second slide -- looks sloppy.
In slide #3, I think it's better to say "Come to New Hampshire" instead of "See New Hampshire."  My 2 cents . . .

Thanks for sharing your wonderful creativity with the FSP!

Dang!

After reading this thread I'm feeling for Dale. Ah the wonderful world of getting your and everyone else's ideas laid in a line.

I'm a fan of "Come to New Hampshire" over "See New Hampshire" as well. "see" just reads a bit to tourist bearuesque - does that even make sense? Cheesy maybe?

Just sayin. And thanks for all the work Dale -
