Tell what county in New Hampshire
« on: June 27, 2007, 03:29:36 pm »

The British practice of including the county name after the town name, even after the 1974 reshuffle of county lines, can be useful to porcupines. Brits still go by the old boundaries when saying where they're from. The Beatles did a song that refers to "four thousand holes in Blackburn, Lancashire"

When saying where your job offer has come from, then, it will help to say what county, since there are only ten counties in New Hampshire and these are easier to know, and especially if you say what part of the county, such as "southern Carroll County" for example.
