None of the replies really gave a straight answer. It's true that all kinds of people have joined the FSP, and all are encouraged to do so as long as the agree that the maximum role of government should be to protect Life, Liberty, and Property.
The statistics show that the demographic is shifted towards white males. It should be noted that this is a reflection of the demographics of the pro-liberty movement. I haven't looked in a while, but the average age is shifted toward the older side, HOWEVER there is a big difference between demographics of those who have signed and those who have moved. The early movers seem to be younger on average than the overall FSP demographics, I'm not 100% sure, but the early movers may be a more gender balanced demographic too. I'm not sure if the ethnic demographics are more balanced among early movers, but I do know that members of ethnic minorities have made the move.
Nobody should be discouraged by those demographics. Folks in New Hampshire generally don't have a problem with diversity, but we simply don't have as much of it as many parts of the country. We are a primarily rural, northern state, so it really isn't too surprising.
