oh yeah that's a given, i was only referring to guns. i thought you were saying that these data-mining services could affect your ability to buy a gun even if you got yourself out of the NCIS database.

Yeah, I figured you figured that.  ;D  I don't think many people know about the online databases though.... so I thought I'd mention it.  Most potheads just go by what norml says on their website and get themselves screwed thinking they'll only get a $100 fine or some BS.

it's true, i didn't know either and it's disgusting. and all this happening to sick people whose lives are hard enough as it is, and who probably also think they have a get out of jail free card then end up having legal bills ontop of their medical bills.

.... and possibly being out of a job on top of all the bills!

I don't understand why they don't just give up on pot.  Too many people do it....  Its not that big of a deal....  Good grief!  They're treating it like the abortion issue where half the people think its ok and the other half think its pure evil.  Always has been and probably always will be.

And as far as guns are concerned, they should be handing out pot to gun owners.  Who wants to shoot anybody when stoned?  Alcohol is the real enemy.  The first thing any man would do before shooting the guy that's cheating with his wife is to go have a couple shots of whiskey.  The story wouldn't make sense if he went off to smoke a big blunt.

Keene is a college town that has been known as "Green Keene".  Marijuana's pretty popular all over NH, from what I understand.

Manchester has several decent head shops. Nashua has one spectacular one called Headlines. It might be the coolest head shop I've ever been in and has lots of just fun stuph to browse far beyond a typical head shop including paint guns, erotic clothing, cool bumper stickers, some very libertarian, even anarchist-ish. There's a really nice head shop a short drive from Keene and a small shop right in Keene, actually a convenience store but with a very nice selection of paraphernalia, had some of the best prices I've seen. I believe some of their pipes were at least half what I saw them for in other shops. I think they might be locally produced or something. But as Ian said, all of NH is pretty decent, particularly since there are porcs all over NH to hang out with.
