Thursday State House Action
« on: February 20, 2007, 01:30:31 am »

I just reviewed the legislative calendar for the week.
People who go on the Thursday afternoon State House Action tour will get to see public testimony on:

1) A bill lowering the drinking age to 18
and
2) A bill further restricting the use of Eminent Domain (in November, we passed a constitutional amendment restricting it; the bill restricts it even more)

Good Stuff!

Thanks for the info!  I'm especially looking forward to hearing the Eminent Domain testimony.  What a great topic for us first-timers.

I expect there will be a "menu" of what's going on at the State House at what times. Then each individual "tour group" and decide what the group most wants to see....
