Financial Analyst - Lakes Region/Laconia NH area
Our client, located in the Lakes Region/Laconia NH area is seeking a Financial Analyst to act as liaison between G&A, finance and the Corporate Finance group. Responsibilities include financial support of G&A areas by providing relevant financial data for reporting and planning.
Produce monthly G&A expense variance analysis at both a micro and macro level, as well as reporting back to cost center managers. Regular review of the general ledger as needed to insure that information is accurate and recorded properly. Work with departments to develop budgets and forecasts of expenses, and have the ability to summarize for management. This is a support position for the G&A area, R&D and Senior Financial Analysts and may also include special projects to support these groups.
You will be responsible for transactions that drive financial results, including: assuming accounting responsibility with regard to closing a portion of the Company’s books on a monthly basis; responsibility for monthly accruals for G&A groups, as well as the reconciliations for those accruals on a monthly basis. Additional time may be required during quarterly and year-end closes. This position will be responsible for the Project time study administration and the duties that go with each month end.
Excellent interpersonal skills and sound judgment in maintaining confidential information.
BS with a Finance concentration and 2 - 3 years accounting/finance experience. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to communicate effectively with senior management team and strong analytical/problem solving skills. Strong experience with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word required. Hyperion Pillar experience highly desired.
